Thanks to aleph_naught and the_piedpiper, who accompanied me to Kaikoura on my Easter excursion, I am now listening to a whole pile of music by bands I've barely heard of. And some of it's quite cool.

For a start, I'd like to recommend people take a look at the video below of Hot Chip - Ready for the Floor.

Aside from the obvious and awesome Batman references, there's a weird Paranoia thing going on - throughout the video, the band members upgrade from grey suits to brightly coloured ones by completing various challenges. Furthermore, many of the challenges take place in brightly coloured silos, kinda like Hot Fun vats. Finally, I think the 'stick room' at the end would make a great trap..
